CONCEPT:

"Alternative Rock" being used as a disguise for extreme progressive elements.

Ichika-styled cleans and Technical Death Metal drumming paired with catchy Alternative Rock and Funky Post-Hardcore passages.

This song started in 2017 as a music project for the MUS208 Songwriting course.  My professor described the early demo as sounding like water, hence the name 水 Shuǐ.  As I continued improving my technique, sound engineering, and writing, as well as picking up sweeping and thumping along the way, the song evolved into the spawn of a particular style and sound I was envisioning, and will carry out into a full project soon.

This is a writing demo.  The song will be rewritten and re-recorded for a final release with some minor stylistic changes.

Just dropping this demo to get the idea out there.
