Annie fell in love with playing music in 5th grade band as a little flautist. Eventually, she picked up the piccolo for marching band. After her dream of becoming a musician was set aside by societal expectations, she went on to study Engineering.

In time, Annie graduated and moved to the Chicagoland area. After listening to Grimes' music on repeat and relating to their early public persona, she was influenced to buy herself some recording equipment. 

Annie then began experimenting with the sounds of her brain. With her basic knowledge of the flute, synth, guitar, and sampler, she has been able to craft spooky ambient pop electronic music.
