This song was written about the Rancho Seco  Nuclear Power Plant.  The verses tell a true story.  It operated from 1975 to 1989 after a vote from the people.

Chasing Rainbows

A story about a country preacher who goes to the big town for a prayer-a-thon and faces temptation. Inspired by the fall of several ministers in the new when it was written. After much debate, I decided the song was better if I left the story unfinished.
