“I Am Not The One” was inspired by the world’s twisted point of view of Christians being weak because of our choice of being forgiving and merciful instead of mayhem and hatefulness to people we encounter on a daily basis. I Am Not The One states boldly that, yes, we are Christian, but we still have boundaries that may not be crossed. Using rap as a medium to reach the masses, we blend banging lyrics with crazy lit beats. Getting the attention of those who are seeking the truth, we use our words to destroy the misconception that a life lived for Christ is a joke. It is easy to be swept up into the trends of the industry and pop culture that are consistently changing. If we bend to the idea that we should always follow the trend or follow the culture, we will never have our own identity. This piece puts a flag down saying "I am not the one to be played with/ You can tell it's not a game by who I hang with/ If you searching for the truth it ain't famous/ And everybody pointing fingers ain't blameless.
