The first real solo composition I'm posting online. 

The track is inspired by a lot of Finnish and oriental music, but I also wanted it to be very atmospheric.

Note: I'm not that great of a clean vocalist

Existential Feelings

Mountains formed then fell into the sea 
I held my gaze
I saw a nation chosen from the earth
I craned to see  
And under orders uttered by his very lips
I watched them loose the blood of babes

But hey did that save? Did that work to save them?
The book of the names, are theirs now engraved in?
Did that clear the way to ordain them? 
Or was it just in vain?

And kingdoms rose then crumbled into dust
I held my gaze
I saw a man selected from the hordes 
The rivers flowed
He was given wisdom unattainable
He received a measure full   
  
But hey did that save? Did that work to save him?
The book of the names, is his now engraved in?

We saw many things, the cherubs and we seraphs, too
But great hosts from our ranks felt it saved too few

Great cities pulsed then vanished into mist
I held my gaze 
A people then were chosen one by one
I watched with reverence 
They received the spirit unassailable 
To them the mysteries were all made known
