For episode 016 of AnimsCast, we welcome Reezar, the Venice-born, Barcelona-based artist known for weaving hypnotic grooves and emotive textures into captivating DJ sets. With a musical foundation rooted in his father’s vinyl collection and years spent shaping his sound in Venice’s underground, Reezar has become a fixture of Barcelona’s scene—most notably through his long-standing residency at Macarena Club and as co-founder of Kósmic.

Following his recent Ànims release Look Up The Sky—a powerful collaboration with Ivan Masa and Ivan Pugliares—Reezar delivers a mix that reflects his signature energy: deep, rhythmic, and full of feeling. It’s a journey through sound that balances introspection and momentum, crafted for the dancefloor but rich in atmosphere and detail.

Brian describes the concepts behind each track:

‘“Observe’ is a doorway to a higher dimension. Beyond a track, this is a guide into one of meditation’s most powerful questions: How do we enter the meditative state, and remain there?  With catchy chords, a steady groove and harmonies that speak to the heart, I crafted this piece to be open and inviting for anyone to step into this soundscape.

‘Immerse In The Sound’ invites you deeper into our Endangered universe. Layers of swirling synths, sweeping pads, a thick bass line and dreamy jazz-infused pianos & trumpets all create a space that pulls you in. My voice weaves through it all, offering clear instructions: let go, surrender and simply: Immerse In The Sound.

Both of these tracks have created epic moments on dance floors around the world, and now the Endangered family and I are very glad to share them with you.”
