Ralf Hitsville is based in Düsseldorf & the Owner of the Hitsville Record-Store since 1994
He grew up with the Youth Subcultures in the early Eighties
Sometimes he plays DJ Sets at Salon des Amateurs & Independent Party’s . He also monthly runs the Hitsville-Radio Show at Callshop Radio / Düsseldorf
Although he has his Roots in Punk his Musical Spectrum is broad , hence the Name Different Excursions !

We focused on the German Experimental, DIY, Synth,Wave and Punk scene from the 80s.
Bands like Der Plan, S.Y.P.H, Die Tödliche Doris and Conrad Schnitzler are just a few of the better known artists from this era.

The enigmatic genius Shackleton’s contribution to Bleep’s mix series is completely and utterly captivating. In his first mix in almost a decade, the music blends tracks from 2019’s Reach The Endless Sea and 2020’s Like The Stars Forever And Ever, the two LPs Shackleton has made as part of the group Tunes Of Negation. These numbers are spliced together with live versions, improvisatory passages and droning interludes which were fashioned by Shackleton resampling pre-existing tracks. Those who know Shackleton from his dubstep days will find that his sound has changed considerably since then - his intoxicating style now nods more to Jon Hassell’s fourth world explorations, Indian classical music, the rhythmic phasing of Steve Reich and post-minimalist artists like Midori Takada. This earthy, psychedelic hour serves as a fascinating chronicle of how Shackleton’s artistic voice has developed down the years.  

"The mix is made up of tracks from the two "Tunes Of Negation" albums, some live versions, and some studio improvisations.  I made some bridges between the tracks with drones and the like that I created out of parts from existing tunes that I resampled and generally messed around with."

graph (stefan jürke, jens beyer) begeben sich auf eine klangsuche jenseits von trends innerhalb der elektronischen musik. im vordergrund steht die beschäftigung mit klang und rhythmischen strukturen, die mithilfe von digitalen musikalischen instrumenten und effekten konstruiert und dekonstruiert werden. insbesondere in ihren live-performances wagen sie den versuch die präzision digitaler musik-tools in kontrast zu improvisierten texturen, flächen und „beats" zu stellen. im vordergrund steht hier der versuch, einen lebendigen, organischen „soundspace" zu erschaffen. die statik, präzision und synchronizität von zwei digitalen workstations werden als gleichwertige parameter, aber auch als kontrast zum improvisatorischen eingriff und der manipulation des klanggeschehens in echtzeit betrachtet.
