ZTVZ — aka “los Estévez” — are not your average Latin pop duo. Formed by brothers Diego and Carlos Andrés Estévez, they’re not just musicians and producers; they’re also astrophysicists and visual creatives. In this exclusive commentary, the duo breaks down the making of their new EP ‘Z-Pop’, featuring standout tracks like “24 Horas,” where they explain how they “managed to capture the feeling that there is just not enough time; that you’re doing everything you can to achieve your dreams, but time still isn’t enough.” Elsewhere, they share the track “QTQH” is about “chasing a dream or chasing love — both burn deep, both rise above. They’re wild, they’re raw, uncertain, but true. And that’s exactly what we wanted to represent in this song.” Inspired by space, nature, and their Puerto Rican roots, ZTVZ’s sound is a cosmic fusion of Latin pop, indie, dancehall and Afrobeat.
