Grassbrothers started in spring 2020 with Isabel Martin using her phone to record videochat jam sessions between her and Jenny Nelson. All tracks were recorded between 2020 and 2022 in this fashion, except for Empty Mountain, Morticia’s Heart, Vanilla Latte, and Found a Peanut which were recorded in person in Jenny’s bedroom.
