This is our Ten Year Zero Anniversary @zeroparty set we did at the Knockdown center as an opener for @andhim. What an amazing time and opportunity to show the Zero community how important they have been to us and the city of NY in regards to culture and their ability to consistently bring alternative and good electronic music to the city. 
A focus of this set and its themes you will notice are love and getting into a groovy state of mind. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did playing it.

Music consumes a big part of my life, from writing tracks, collaborating with singers and musicians, preparing for gigs, running my record label Smash bang, stressing if its good enough… It goes on and on and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve reached a lot of goals that I set for myself, one of which being able to travel internationally to play music, but there’s many to go and that excites me to no end.

This marked my 10th year out on the blank canvas of creativity, known as the Playa.  It was unforgiving and magnificent and challenging and beautiful all at once. I tell myself every year, this may be my last, that the experience has pushed me to my limits of comfort, and patience.  But literally the second I get back to the default World,  I miss it dearly, and cannot wait to return. The last Come Down mix I made for Burning Man was 5 years ago, and with the explosion of energy and mega high vibes this year, I felt the calling to create another chill-out journey into sound. Think of this mix as your long Exodus back into reality.  Listen closely to the inspiring words of Larry Harvey sprinkled through out the set. This legendary man and his brilliant vision, which he so profoundly describes in his own poetically genius way, is the reason we all make the annual pilgrimage to this desolate barren land of LOVE. Hijinxx is an arena where the constraints of the constructed world often struggle to keep grips of the splendid and sometimes slippery clientele. I was fortunate to find myself playing the morning of the Sun-return-day at Kiwiburn 2023, which closely followed Soggy-Saturday. 

I took the opportunity to spin some deep and spiritual grooves, traversing an undulating aural landscape to a small but dedicated crowd, which grew as the bubbles slowly lost their pop and the espresso was rising quickly. 

Biggest of thanks to the one sensual soul that danced front and centre the entire set, feeling every hi-hat and oscillation.. one person is all it takes to make a performance worthwhile. Huge love to Becky, Arthur, Rayner and all the amazing crew for having us... and to my brother for the gift of the owl shortly after.. the wisdom is slowly but surely seeping in.

We are continuing to release amazing sets from The Nightsky Celebration, one after the other. They have become our obsession. Wow!

Drift off on the cosmic trip created by Goro and Lev Tatarov. We were so happy to have them perform together on the Karismatik stage, as they are family to us and, we were always big fans of their music. 

They are truly musical geniuses who understand how to elevate the audience. Bravo loves. The performance was spot on!
