I once sat down and really listened to this song and I really identify with it. Sometimes you are so far into the grind, you forget to take time for yourself. Slow down and enjoy life! All instruments were played live then cleaned up in post.

The year 2017 will mark one of the saddest years of my life. That year the man who I would praise as the voice of my generation would be taken from me and every fan that he had inspired. Chris Cornell will always be special to me, as I have been a fan since his days with Soundgarden. This song has always meant everything to me and I always play it when I sit down with my acoustic.

Having said all of this, I cannot match the beauty of Chris's voice, but I choose to pay him tribute and use my own voice and my own playing to honor him. May Chris's songs forever be in your hearts and memories.
