The Kannibalen infection has taken over Snails' home planet. His fellow snails have been transformed into slugs, amorphous blobs of gooey flesh who think only of feasting on their compatriots. Its up to King Snails to save his race from self-destruction. 

Mysterious Canadian producer Snails has birthed another powerful trap step banger with SLUGZ. The track is intense from start to finish and highlights some of Snails' trademark sounds: crunchy bass lines and growls, hypnotic synth melodies and epic horns.

Beyond moving bodies and stirring emotion, music can also be a powerful vehicle for social change. Every90Minutes, in conjunction with Gravitas Recordings, has curated a unique compilation of electronic music for an important cause. "Beat ALS" spans 17 tracks across a number of genres with 100% of the proceeds directly benefiting Every90Minutes, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to funding ALS research through music and events. The release features a truly memorable cast of international talent including Bassnectar, BT, Tritonal, Richie Hawtin, Dub FX, John Acquaviva, ill.gates, Matthew Dear, Machinedrum and many more. Track vibes ranging from dubstep to techno meet downtempo and cinematic sections with class, weaving a sense of poetic diversity throughout the album.

Jay Smith, the Founder of music tech company Livid Instruments, started Every90Minutes after his own diagnosis with ALS earlier this year. The Foundation is dedicated to funding the most promising research and treatment for ALS, and provides an inspirational beacon for others affected by his disease. Apart from the "Beat ALS" compilation, Every90Minutes is working on a number of multifaceted initiatives to raise both funds and awareness for ALS. The 2020s have been tricky as hell — doors closing, systems shifting, everything changing faster than anyone could predict. But I’ve made it through every revolving door with tricks up my sleeve, turning setbacks into sound and chaos into fuel.

Tricks is that energy in music form: futuristic, cyberdelic trap, heavy enough to shake walls and sharp enough to cut straight through the noise. The vocal sample — 2020, 2021, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 — runs like a timeline of survival, a decade of pressure compressed into rhythm.

This track is unpredictable, relentless, and my proudest creation yet — proof that no matter how tricky the times get, I’ll always find a way through.

As the planet approaches Earth, the last surviving humans, those uninfected by the Kannibalen virus, decide to see if this mysterious orb holds the key to resisting the infection. The warrior shaman Apashe is thus sent to the Snail world, where he discovers mind-bending sounds and strange rhythms that astound his senses and instill in him the hope that this new music may indeed be the answer to fighting Kannibalen.
