Portland, Maine based producer Of The Trees is no stranger to sexy electronic music. Now with his second free EP offered through Gravitas Recordings, Tyler Coombs goes way beyond even his own previous best with Vacationland. A stirring and impassioned collection, these four pieces of music rightfully deserve to be called "songs" as a distinguishing mark against the current epidemic of disposable music. Listeners who gravitate toward the likes of Mimosa, Minnesota, Gladkill and Kastle will all be pleasantly satisfied with this trip to Vacationland. 

The EP starts strong with the highly infectious Fever Trip, an aptly named excursion through swirling arpeggiators and pitch modulated chords. Hyperflux's soulful yet wonky manner serve as a perfect palette cleanser after a stressful day, preparing you for everything the night has to offer. Next, Absolution goes deep with an immaculate fusing of trap and footwork styles and no small dose of emotive melody. Almost as if it was written as the soundtrack for a melancholy goodbye, Last Request sums up the album with only a touch of regret, perhaps due to a wish that your time in Vacationland could have been just a bit longe

Gravitrax, known for his collaboration with LSDREAM (EXPAND THE UNIVERSE), has teamed up with Atlas.B to present an out of this world tune titled, “It Was All A Dream”. There is an obvious thematic astral connection between the producers and through mutual inspiration, this became an effortless funk hit, full of wubs and the classic iconic sample from The Notorious B.I.G. – Juicy! “Atlas.B has infinite potential with solid roots in funk and a recognizable sound, in his ability to record, manipulate, and create samples from anywhere in space-time. The initial funk sample he sent me really got my attention and I just knew it had to become a full tune with both our sounds. It felt transcendent in the studio as it came together. An original with a sample from Biggie, so we decided to make this a free download on SoundCloud and Audius for everyone! I’m super happy with the final tune, in having an awesome retro vibe but with a futuristic bass flow. Always crossing the boundaries of space-time. Staring At The Ceiling

One of my favorite tracks I've written to date, this is third collaboration between myself and Astrocide and every time we get in the studio together magic seems to happen. Astrocide's melty guitar shreddage blends perfectly with my hype and heavy sound design. This tune was stupid amounts of fun to make, and is stupid amounts of fun to play. It also features myself on the saxophone. I hope it brings some joy and bass into your life.
