2021 brought the second year of SPARKY Art Car’s Virtual Burning Man appearence in the Dusty Multiverse. Along with a return of some SPARKY favorites, this year brought a new set of artists into our tribe of 100+ artists over the years. Narkbeat and I are happy to host our Narratives’ close friend and Tulum-based DJ Silvio Saade, it’s an emotional collaboration for me personally (Alaa) as Silvio and I started our music Journey together, not so long ago and fortunately, we remained working with the same musical frequency,  this chapter that we curated B2B is a Latino-Afro feel-good expedition to the Caribbean jungle and back • it is a genre-hybrid mix of Melodic instrumental tunes and Deep House grooves, wrapped around a scoliotic Organic spine • briefly, not a dull moment:)

On the visual art side, we are grateful to have collaborated with a special delicate talent, Urban Gypsy (Danya). as a product designer and artist, Danya enjoys mixing disciplines together to create fun and playful works that have layers of texture and dimension. For her, she goes by the philosophy of more is more. She uses a lot of detailing in her work, As she finds it creates a powerful visual statement and you can continue to find new perspectives in it every time you view the work.

Après une longue période d’isolement infligée par la pandémie, L’évident, l’essentiel nous a tant manqué : la liberté, le contact avec ses proches, avec la nature. Les moments de festivité, qui paraissent légers, presque superficiels sont finalement remplis de profondeurs, de bonheurs tant essentiels à nos vies. 
L’idée de rassembler a germé : nous l’avons appelé GRAVITY ;
 
GRAVITY ou la force qui nous relie à notre terre… à l’essentiel.
Nos étendards sont la joie de vivre et la culture du moment présent.
 
Hormis les règles qui visent à protéger la santé, la sécurité et le bien-être de la communauté, les principes de Gravity découlent simplement du bon sens :

L’art est une composante majeure de notre évènement et de notre communauté :
D’abord La musique (électronique) : par la promotion de nos talents et la découverte d’autres artistes internationaux émergents.
Puis, d’un point de vue individuel où l’expérience fait la part belle à l’expression personnelle et à la créativité.
Nous travaillons aussi à mettre en valeur nos artistes et artisans (stylistes, maquilleurs, créateurs de bijoux, sculpteurs …)
 
Au fil du temps et d’évènements, notre communauté s’est agrandit, des amitiés sincères sont nées, des liens se sont renforcés, des affinités qui durent et qui enrichissent chaque moment de retrouvailles. 
Gravity est plus qu’un événement : Gravity est cette utopie temporaire qui grâce à chacun de nous est devenue quotidien…une philosophie…un mode de vie.
 
Notre histoire ne fait que commencer, elle est de plus en plus en belle, œuvrons tous pour la préserver et garder l’âme de GRAVITY.
