As we dive into unpredictable times in the aftermath of the pandemic, our experience of everyday life and our perception music comes out altered. Some of these changes will stay with us, some will vanish as they appeared - without warning. 

In the wake of the pandemic, the Gravity podcast series invites each artist of its roster to showcase their music through a conceptual journey, reflecting on how their listening, playing habits, and possibly other important aspects of their existence have been affected by the general context. These mixes, accompanied by short interviews and a photographic glimpse into the artist’s personal space, constitute an archive of these unprecedented challenges, how they were apprehended and conquered.

In this short interview, @fleika lets us in on his creative process, how it was affected by the pandemic, the magic of DIY venues, and his experience of being as passionate a raver as he is a DJ.

Tresor Records presents a special two-hour radio episode on Refuge Worldwide to commemorate the reissue of Regis' & Female's album ‘Againstnature’ and the club’s 30th anniversary. Chloe Lula talks to Regis (Karl O’Connor), discussing what he thinks about the album 20 years after its initial release; his creative process; and his recent and forthcoming projects, which include a collaboration with Einstürzende Neubauten’s recording engineer. Their conversation is followed by a one-hour DJ set recorded live when O’Connor played at Tresor in 2019.

After a short summer break, we are more than ready to serve you a fresh series of SALON and fulfill your music needs. To kick off the new season, we have the pleasure of welcoming none other than the Berlin based DJ and producer Inland. 

Inland’s output today stands for purist and inherently progressive rhythmic work, grounded in the romantic traditions of early Techno yet driven by a constant search for new ground, textures and studio-techniques. His well-rounded artistic profile also includes successfully running the versatile Counterchange label, which he not only uses as a space for his own sound experimentation and pushing his creativity, but also as a platform for building talent. Some of Inland’s most recent projects includes being co-founder of Arch events, which is a series of electro-acoustic ambient/experimental concerts.

In this mix, Inland treats us to his impeccable dance floor energy and gives a glimpse in the future of Counterchange. Including lots of unreleased material by himself and both label mainstays and new faces, it’s certain that he will get you going.
