Bongani Samuel Matshiakhosi "Gravity" Was born and raised in the South Western Township in Meadowlands. He uses the name "Gravity" as his stage name to describe the force he uses to build a monumental atmosphere, when mixing for his crowd he "Gravity" plays various house music genres to accomodate every one in a convenient manner but mainly focuses on Afro-related genres by doing that he also likes to add some of his taste by playing his own sounds while doing just that. Gravity Started Dj'ing at the age of 12 when he first developed an endless feeling for house music ever snce then he says " Music is the combination of mixed emotion to one indescribable feeling"

Gravity is influenced by the living lengends of local house music: Oskido, Vinny Da Vinci, Christos, Kent, Black Coffee, Fresh, and young talented local djs & producers such as: Keys Snow, Cuebur, Da Capo, Black Motion, Maphorisa & Clap, Culoe De Song, invaders of Afrika ...(The list goes on:)) .
