The pioneers of an ever-evolving metal scene, TesseracT, are set to release their fourth studio album entitled Sonder, following 2015's worldwide acclaimed Polaris. The group are the label's most streamed artist with 40+million Spotify streams, of which 13.8m are for their Polaris and following EP Errai releases, and have already featured in multiple playlists, including: Kickass Metal, New Metal Tracks, Metal Domination and Got Djent.

Originally formed as a studio project by guitarist Acle Kahney, TesseracT are band full of melody, dynamics and groove, they sit outside the bounds of any genre specificity to truly create a sound that has always been pioneering and creative; an unstoppable force of off-kilter riffs, soaring melodies and disorientating atmospherics.

The band's vision quickly translated to success, with a collective 100,000 sales in North America alone. Polaris reached Billboard's #10 (Hard Rock) & #57 (Current Albums) charts and #9 in the UK (Indie Albums) and #7 (Rock and Metal), and have seen continued support from worldwide press.

Sonder adds significant firepower to the band's arsenal, blending the abrasive and progressive tone from their first two records with the accessibility of Polaris. It also includes field recordings submitted by the band's online fan base, giving an insight into the complex and varied lives of others; a theme which is also referenced in the artwork, designed by bassist Amos Williams, and the wider concept of self-identity within a population full of complex and vivid lives. For the first time, TesseracT acquired the talents of a choir for their album, produced and conducted by Randy Slaugh and recorded at Soularium Studios, Utah. Sonder was recorded in the UK at 4D Sounds, Celestial Sounds and Project Studios, and engineered by the band and mastered by Acle Kahney. 

Building on their phenomenal success with worldwide tours in support of Polaris over two years – as headliners and as special guests for the likes of Megadeth and Meshuggah, Devin Townsend Project and Gojira – TesseracT are supporting Sonder on a 2018 worldwide tour, that will take the band to North America in Spring, major European summer festivals, Australia in late Summer and the UK & Europe in Winter.

TesseracT - Luminary (from Sonder)

Seeing how today is my first official release with TesseracT, I figured I share one of the two auditions that got me in the band in the first place. I received "Deception" literally the night before I went to track it. Some of the timing might be off, but thats because I basically had to learn it while tracking it, as I was not familiar with the tune. Also, I didn't know whether or not to track the backing harmonies, so I left Dan's in there. I also do not use NEARLY as much vibrato when preforming this now hahaha. Anyways, don't take it too seriously as it was just an audition ^__^
