Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Phil Grajko was born and raised in upstate NY. He picked up a guitar at age 10 and has never looked back. Since that time he's written hundreds of songs and played in dozens of bands of all styles. But above all, he's remained true to his first love.

In 2012, following the death of a dear friend, Phil decided to embark on a new musical adventure. He teamed up with his sister, Hannah, and long-time friends Andrew and Noah VanNorstrand to begin fleshing out a new batch of songs. These back porch jam sessions eventually led to the album "Made of Light", which blended uplifting reggae songwriting with acoustic bluegrass and folk instrumentation.

In 2013 he turned a school bus into a cabin and moved to Asheville, NC, where he currently resides.

Grayak is the original pronunciation of Grajko, meaning "player" in Polish. This name was chosen to pay tribute to the Hindu concept of Lila, which depicts the whole universe as a creative play, the dance of the Divine.
