My homie sent me a beat and I just went straight to the lyrics, with no real direction. It's a little playful, cocky at times, and pretty aggressive towards the end. I feel like it's really all about individuality and being able to do what you want to do without having too much influence outside from a society's perspective. I really enjoy the end product of this one, and I hope you do too.

This piece came from a vulnerable and sincere place in my heart. I wrote it for a compilation that's promoting activism, justice, and the PEOPLE. It's called Friends for Equality and it's only a $5 donation for 42 original songs from musicians all over the world, spanning multiple genres. All of the proceeds are donated to organizations like Planned Parenthood, ACLU National, and Southern Poverty Law Center. There are some really beautiful tracks on there. Unfortunately my song isn't on there because I didn't meet the deadline for submissions, but they're going to release another one soon and I will NOT miss that deadline! I hope this song inspires you to become more active, aware, concerned, and thoughtful. if not, then at least the beats kinda cool, right?

This piece is a collaborative effort between Dan (bass), Alden (Vox sample and guitar)and myself. This track was a lot of fun to work on, it sort of just bloomed and built upon itself until it became a solid structure. Definitely looking forward to making more tunes with these guys!

It's just my attempt to put words to a musical piece. I played with attitude, syllable placement, and subject matter while writing and executing it's delivery. Like most of my work, the song is about making art and what comes with the it, especially if the artwork is close to your heart, soul, identity, etc. enjoy.
