A modernized take on traditional folk song styles, Empire is the anthemic battle hymn for those going through struggle. A series of acoustic percussion leads the march toward a hopeful future as our "battle worn" hero trudges through the next obstacle. Dramatic cut off transitions literally snap the listener's consciousness into the feel of having a long way to go, and being in no rush to get to the end.

A soundtrack for modern romance, "Be Mine" features an eclectic mix of revitalized 80's synths, Pop-punk Drum drums, and ambient vocal styles. A feel good, dance provoking ear worm that portrays the fast times of being in love in today's world.

Heavy syncopation in the opening verses, this song feels like a rock breakdown from the get go. Virtuosic drum patterns, ambient electric guitars and soul-packed vocals drive this piece through funk space and into the alt-pop genre. 

The song uses tableau like imagery to explain the feeling of coming back into a relationship after spending time to work on yourself. Like floating through the void and getting pulled in by a planet, this song is a joyride of vibes to get you feeling good about getting back out there.

Singer/Songwriter

American Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Grayson Moon brings a refreshing new experience to the alt-pop music scene, blending soulful vocals over contemporary guitar and electronic instruments, and weaving in and out of the singer-songwriter style with rock and blues influences.

His single “Down” off of the debut EP “I Hope You’re Ok” reflects on coming of age and feeling the loss of a loved one with folk guitar styles and poignant lyricism.

Two follow up single releases came with “Be Mine” and, “Crush” in 2020 which were hailed by pop-rock and funk fans alike for their cathartic blend of styles and sonic landscapes.

Starting from a very young age, Grayson trained classically in operatic voice. Whilst pursuing a Vocal Performance degree at Shenandoah Conservatory, he was immersed in various styles of music and began experimenting with a variety of bands, sounds, and instruments.

Aug 22, Grayson is set to release the third and final single, “EMPIRE” as a precursor to his next EP expected to release in 2021.
