"I scribbled these lyrics down on the first day of spring in 2023. My flatmate and I had been sick for a month, I was finally strong enough to pick up my guitar and play this little mantra of a riff. These lyrics take place in Nevada City, California, at the cemetery on the top of the hill, where my dearest friend and I would picnic and visit the grave of a long-gone infant. Once, under the moonlight, we brought my harp up there and I played for the dead. We’d read poetry to each other and to the residents, discuss our sadness and our gratitude, say hello to the man who was living in the 100-year old ponderosa above us that would eventually be chopped down by PG&E. This song is for the friend who brings poetry everywhere, to everyone. I have more than one version of baby blues, all of them are for her." - meka

I am a healthcare executive completing a dual degree, Master of Public Health / Doctor of Health Sciences, focused on raising awareness about behavioral health, specifically among teens and college students. My dissertation research is focused on raising up the voice of college students beginning with communities of color. I am committed to helping people connect to their purpose in collaboration with mission-aligned leaders. Together we will achieve great things!


Our project is a first step in raising awareness about a national health epidemic. All proceeds are reinvested directly into proactive strategies for improving behavioral health among youth, teens, and young adults in collaboration with community partners.


Our youth, teens, and young adults are reporting the highest levels of loneliness on record according to the U.S. Surgeon General. Our work is going to help change that through simple actions that bring people together for the common good, focused on lifting people up, and creating stronger in person connections.

Frederic Laval, songwriter from Bordeaux, observes and translates his emotions into sounds, metaphors, little stories tinged with melancholic folk melodies.

He gathered his compositions in a first album, Old Loved Ones, released in early 2020. A collection of nine tracks where raw guitar and layers of electronic arrangements remind us of Sufjan Stevens or Angelo De Augustine.

In 2021, he released two new singles, Milwaukee's Rime and Heavenly Wonders. At the same time, he began writing a collection of two EPs. Fire Line, Pt. 2 was released in February 2025.
