Recorded at P.A. Tricks home studio in the late 90s using turntables, vinyl, & a Tascam 4-track. No 1200s, sampler, or looper. Manual pause button tape edits. Only instruments are guitar on track 01 (Ryan Bol) & tin flute on track 03 (J-P). Track 01 features vocals by Ryan Bol & Brandon Christopher & "shut up" scratches by Chris Lyon. Produced & performed by J-P Simard with appearance by Portuondo members on track 01.

DJs, Heroes & Villains was a radio show on CFRC 101.9fm in Kingston Ontario Canada in the late 90s where music was improvised live to air. These sessions were recorded in December of 1998 performed by Jesse Scott (guitar, effects), Silas Smith (keyboards, drum machines, Atari game system), Shawn Savoie (upright bass, Moog Taurus pedal synth), & Jean-Paul Simard (records, turntables, mixer).
