With the “Art of Work EP” the mighty CamelPhat duo present their debut Great Stuff EP, after making their first appearance on the label, remixing D.Ramirez & Ceven Fisher’s “Restless”. CamelPhat have crazy momentum currently with their chart topping records on labels such as Axtone, Nervous, Spinning Deep and Ultra.

Starting off with the percussion driven “Arabella” track. Super tight low frequencies float below some haunting pads, while the musical effects and crisp hi-hats provide incredible energy.

Next up is the techno infused “Fia” stomper. Kicking off with a funk injected bass pattern, which keeps the track moving forward. Looped sounds and delay effects support the fun vocal snippets in a sleek way.

Closing off the EP with the cutting edge “Valentina” composition. The boys followed a deeper, more spacey approach while still keeping the energy level high. They tease with tiny melodies and a raw bassline to keep you locked into their groove!

After a long time without hearing new music from our master cat. Coyu is back on his beloved kitty with a new track called Desire. This electronic cut follows a percussive tension through the whole track only being stopped by Daniel Wilde fantastic vocals. The package includes amazing remixes from Olivier Giacomotto and Alberto Ruiz. These two producers take the track to their own sound terriotory and make it more suitable for dancefloors. When i was around 6 my favorite show in Germany was Sesamstrasse. It was a German adaptation of the American Sesame Street. I was really crazy about the show, and I used to always watch it at my Grandparents in Germany.

The intro song was very dear to me. The lyrics went Der Die Das, Wie Weshalb Warum. Which ruffly translates to He She It, How, For what reason, Why.

The intro song spawned this Childish Curiosity in me. I had to explore everything around me. I would bang on lids in the kitchen to hear what they sounded like.

It was this song that made we want to make sounds with different objects, and experiment with early rythms. From this moment on i was engulfed in anything that made a sound.

Adam Beyer is back on Drumcode with an impressive array of tracks that will get the senses tingling and shows us what Drumcode is all about. These 4 tracks are deep and almost melancholic in their approach to techno, using effects to really help enforce an ambience only Beyer can achieve within his productions. The under lying throbbing of the drums drives this EP into the forefront of the heads down Drumcode sound and have been heard in many of Beyer’s phenomenal sets throughout the year.
