Where did the time go?

199 releases and 10 years after label owner Tomcraft released the label-founding anthem Great Stuff with Eniac, Great Stuff Recordings proudly presents its 200th release. One of Resident Advisor&#8217;s Top 20 Most Charted Labels of all time, they&#8217;ve had countless underground and overground successes alike, blending the two sides of the commercial coin in a way few others have managed for such a duration.

Harking back to a funkier time in house music, its hard-grooving bassline and chunky beats provide the perfect counterweight to its euphoric melodies. Those Depeche Mode-esque, trance-tinged breakdown chords pointed a finger to the future of stadium-sized house, while gliding orchestral and sampled strings alike added yet more class. Epic &#8216;80s rock style guitars completed the package, all woven into nine minutes of electronic epicness. Remastered in all its glory here, it&#8217;s sounding fresher than ever.

Three killer remixes bring this 2002 classic up to date. D-Nox &amp; Beckers keep things simple and respectful, with delicate synth arpeggios and the original&#8217;s glorious strings paired with a warm bassline and consistent rhythmic energy. Alex Kenji &amp; NKDj up the bounce factor with offbeat stabs doing battle with those string blasts and seriously pumping beats, while all manner of huge FX and builds bring the track up to fever pitch. Prince Club round off with a more demure effort, skippy classic house beats and rugged low-slung bass building a dark atmosphere around the sampled strings. All three remixes bring something different to this classic and make this milestone package an unmissable piece of house music history.
