October 20th 2014 sees two rising techno talents Drumcomplex & Roel Salemink return to dance musics seminal imprint Intec to bring you their highly anticipated debut album entitled Crossing Borders. This outstanding 12-track offering comes after their acclaimed Priority EP release on Intec earlier this year plus a wealth of successful label releases from artists such as Nicole Moudaber, Harvey McKay, Tomy DeClerque, Carlo Lio, Mattew Jay, Mark Fanciulli and the imprints co-leaders Jon Rundell and Carl Cox. Crossing Borders has been specifically crafted with the dancefoor in mind and the aim to take you on an alluring aural journey though some of the worlds finest techno. This captivating long-player boasts many highlights, kicking off with its impressive opener AMF which incorporates slick drum programming, hypnotic synth lines and immersive percussive elements. The album progresses by showcasing a plethora of supreme club cuts including the moody tech-roller Bullet In My Head, the pounding peak-time dancefloor destroyer Clockwork and the albums sublime bassline focused title track Crossing Borders. Further high points include the powerful, tense and uncompromising Roaring plus the melodic synth-led future classic The Force which brings the album and mania to a dramatic end. The 21-year-old serb Hansol drops his first tech-house bomb on Great Stuff. The &#8220;Take Me Back EP&#8221; two-tracker embodies two full on peak time tracks, that will raise the energy level quite a bit.

Starting of at full throttle with &#8220;Take Me Back&#8221; and it&#8217;s gut-wrenching, enormous bass line. The sub frequencies will most definitely not only make the club&#8217;s walls shake. Hansol packed a modern hi-hat and percussion pattern right on to top, that supports the rumbling groove and vocal-snippet just perfectly.

For the second track &#8220;Side By Side&#8221;, Hansol teamed up with his friends Chrono and Ascaloon. The slightly deeper track features a more spacey vibe, while still stomping forward with power and plenty of bass. The trio left some room within the mix, so the track can evolve to it&#8217;s full potential.

Great Stuff are starting the new year off a bit deeper with a gorgeous new release by the Montreal based Lex & Wood duo. They delivered two balanced, warm and driving deeper house cuts that will keep dancefloors moving and grooving for many more winter nights to come.

Lex & Wood’s b-side original ‘Make You Feel It’ follows a similar style, although its snappy hi-hat patterns inject it with a whole lot of energy. Fuss-free and straightforward tech-house beats and chords hypnotize and suck us into their groove instantly. Again it’s all about the limbering low frequencies!
