A man who needs no introduction in the Dance scene, UK based DJ and producer, Josh Butler, makes his debut on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint this July with the brand new, 'Fuck The Regs' EP. Having firmly established himself as one of House music's most revered talents, Josh has seen his releases land on established labels including Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Rejected, Knee Deep In Sound and Armada Subjekt, boasting remixes for the likes of Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Joris Voorn all whilst playing numerous Ibiza residencies, festival sets including Glastonbury, SW4, Parklife, Secret Garden Party, and multiple European, US and Australian Tours. In the heat of the summer LeoK & Maty Badini hit us with their “When I Remind” release. The record consists of two prime-time festival cuts. “When I Say” comes in the form of a high energy, tribalistic tech house beast. Always going full throttle with deep rolling bass and snappy drums. The trippy vocals chunks added on top, make this track a summer season highlight. “Reminding” on the flip side is a deeper track, which is still action packed with an intense groove. The highlights on here are definitely the guitar and mesmerising vocal layers. A musical package that will create blissful dancefloor moments for sure.

'Spanish house mainstay Piem joins forces with Barcelona's Richard Ulh for a brand new single on Moon Harbour.

Piem is a core label artist who last appeared here in Spring with 'Temptation.' It was the latest in a fine run of sounds that have also come on the likes of Relief, Knee Deep in Sound and Crosstown Rebels. His always on-point taste in fresh underground house serves him well as Music Curator at the W Hotel in Barcelona, and now he links up with a fellow tastemaker from the city, Richard Ulh. His chunky house with its rolling bass has taken him to labels such as Solid Grooves and while he DJs everywhere from elrow to Fabrik.

Their fantastic 'Meri Yaan' is a high-speed and high-drama house cut. The drums race on beneath fiery Indian vocals as bulbous bass and raw percussion all add plenty of heat. It's the sort of fat and full-flavour sound that cuts through the crowd and takes them on an explosive and expressive dance floor trip.

This is another big tune set for plenty of plays this summer and beyond.'

His deep love for music, a playful approach, and a unique way of thinking outside the box are slowly but surely shaping his profile in the Dance scene with his releases having found homes on an impressive line-up of labels including PRIMA, Incorrect, Club Sweat, ORIGINS, Kittball and Moon Harbour. 

The ‘Bomba’ EP offers plenty of hip-swinging percussive rhythms, playful rise and fall basslines, soulful vocal chants, warming drum grooves and rumbling low ends all combine to shape up yet another impressive EP from this talented newcomer.
