<p>The Re-Transmit series heralds the re-workings of Eric Sneo classics, and the first instalment of this four-part release brings the frantic &#8220;Woodpecker From Mars&#8221; to 2014 standards.<br />
Jewel Kid is up first and takes no prisoners in his interpretation. Employing a straightforward approach from the beginning, persistent stabs and an upbeat bassline set the tone for things to come and the use of the original&#8217;s out-of-control main element as a complementing effect steals the show.<br />
Arjun Vagale swings and steamrolls through the night, combining a crackling rhythm section with sharp synths and menacing pad stabs. In this version we get a more obvious nod to the original&#8217;s &#8220;woodpecking&#8221; which effortlessly steps things up to new levels.</p>

Great Stuff proudly presents volume three of it’s “To The Underground” series. The series features exclusive and never before released tracks. Hand picked with only the dance floor in mind. Tracks that will work crowds and elevate dj sets. 

To The Underground Vol.3 starts off with Larry Cadge’s “Walking” a cutting edge tech house bomb with a dash of funk and some super precise hi-hats. The deeper break downs add an extra layer of vibe!

Next up is Luigi Rocca’s lustrous “How Wow”, which is built around a modern, minimalistic house groove and is backed by a bouncy garage-like bassline. Sleek keys accompany the mysterious female vocal onto the dance floor.

It’s all about the heavy-hitting beats and dark mesmerizing mood on Sean Collier’s “Orion”. Industrial percussion sounds morph around alien-style vocals snippets, while the sub-bass frequencies provide the right amount of energy. 

Milan’s Dema is going all in with “Playero”. A big kick drum, even bigger spaced out melody patterns and the haunting vocal effect work are the perfect ingredients for a great tune!

Tobi Kramer’s “Piano Di Polvere” comes in the form of a prime-time, piano filled beast. It’s all about the melody, forward stepping groove and swelling sub bass here. Floating effect ornaments and the tight percussion programming escort those in the most fashionable way.

Guided By Noises & Safer are closing out this tasteful collection of tracks with their “Hypnos” piece. The percussion heavy stomper keeps building into complete craziness. The snappy snare & hat combination, above the slightly distorted bassline, supplies the framework for all the insanity.

Parisian DJ/producer Thomas Evans makes his Reload Black debut In grand fashion, with his latest four-track offering, titled 'Analogy EP'. The title track is up first with atmospheric electronics clearing the way for opulent stabs and melodic riffs, over a cavorting rhythm section. 'Artificial Riff' picks up from there and whips out the looped-out vocals, as acidic phrases and shattering sub-bass interlock effortlessly with the pounding drumset! Next up is 'Dark Rider' laced with a defined groove that gets altered by a huge clap, which in turn marks its evolution and walks us through a dark atmosphere, culminating in a hypnotic lead. 'Shark Error' comes to complete the package, employing mutated chords, followed by ckeeky vocal snippets, while steadily building towards the imminent breakdown!
