When Sam Freeze and Mo Digital met at the library of their university, they were both producing music separately in their student living rooms. Now they have collaborated and are producing music from a shared studio space in the heart of the open-minded and lively center of Cologne city. 

Through their different personalities they are able to combine rationality with passion, creativity with a sense for detail and excitement with tranquility. All of these attributes are reflected in the emotional joyride which is their music. 

You never know what BEATKIND might come up with next! With Daily Life on Great Stuff Records they are sharing their latest coup. Techno is the rhythm of their life, so they were able to win over the amazing Swiss producer Khainz to remix their track. That technoid remix has evolved into a massive club-track that captivates and thrills the crowds. Fennec &amp; Wolf also contributed an outstanding remix which completes their newest EP.

Emil Berliner hailing from Vienna makes his debut on Great Stuff with &#8220;What&#8217;s Love&#8221;. The young Austrian provides us with deep vibes and moody chords. Great Stuff regular Ridney presents the first remix on this fine EP. He&#8217;s brightening up the track a bit through changing the synth layers and adding super crispy hi-hat patterns on top. The widely beloved super-heroes Moonbootica & Ante Perry joined forces for an enthusiastic and seldom recording gathering. The masterly artists amaze with an extravagant floor-filler. Their “Look Out” composition focuses on building tension, but not at the expense of orientation and dynamics. It immediately sets an energetic vibe that will keep the crowd’s heart rate up. The crisp organ sounds and raw vocal fragments make it stand out in that regard. 

Juliet Fox’s remix takes it’s time and a slightly deeper approach, using only the original’s supporting pillars to form her slow burning interpretation. She replaces the peak-time effect work with a looser and more mystical rhythm. Making her version the perfect soundtrack for the sun-drenched early morning hours.

Denmark’s Kasúal adds futuristic pads and a slamming fresh bassline to his arrangement. It’s the most hypnotic track on this quality-release and features a handful of melodic break-downs that will keep you locked in from start to finish.

Moonbootica & Ante Perry - Look Out - Juliet Fox Remix

We just had to snap this one up. Originally released on Copenhagen's wonderfully-quirky Tartelet imprint – home to bonafide electronic geniuses such as Brandt Brauer Frick, Kenton Slash Demon and Wareika – Tahloula's We Play House is a low-slung, late night, sultry groove in its original incarnation. Seductive vocals and a nonchalant, loose funk b-line are the order of the day, the concoction reminiscent of the likes of Zwicker and Belleruche.

Classy gear indeed, but it was Chris Lattner's typically skippy, bending-bassline remix that Tartelet showcased, and which has been receiving consistent support from plenty of big guns across 2011. While it doesn’t embody the science of a rocket, it sure packs the power of one. This one plays house in jacking, ass-shaking fashion, blending deeper textures with sassy techno wiggle.

M.A.N.D.Y. continue to consistently impress with their wonderfully spooky Sweatbox Remix, treading the line precariously between haunting and moody and curiously euphoric. A teasing, plodding bassline creates a sensual feel, bumping under gentle shimmying hats and bugged-out vocal treatments. Watch out for the high-impact drop. Think Art Department, Alex Nagshineh and so forth. A stunning rework.

Recent Great Stuff signings Nice7 get busy on the final remix, and make the choice of which to play even trickier. The most pumping of the lot, this delectable version sees the Italian duo keep the old skool jack rolling throughout, with the energy levels high from start to finish. If you like your house music lively, vibrant and mischievous, this is guaranteed to tickle your proverbial fancy.

Don’t sleep on this truly excellent package.
