Greatest Lady Swimmers (Ian Dowling and Ed Kenny) take you all the way from the poolside to the club in this hour-long guest mix for Radio Laziz. The pair celebrate the imminent launch of their new Techno/Electronica label (Punch Up Records) by introducing you to a few artists who will be releasing on Punch Up in the months ahead (Greatest Lady Swimmers, Adam Oubkou, Desert Raven), mixed in with some of their favourite tracks.
GLS ease you in gently with an Avalon Emerson synthapella then kicking off properly with a soon-to-be-released remix of Mexican producer Loui Martz (Baile Moogrosso - GLS remix), wandering through some deep rhythmic Electronica and House, a smattering of esoteric glitch and ambient pieces, the Congolese Leftfield Bass of Kokoko!, lingering in some Leftfield Techno for a while (Adriana Lopez, Daniel Avery, Luke Slater) before taking off into big-room, driving Techno (Locked Club, Peder Mannerfelt, Clouds). Finally, as a tribute to one of their heroes too soon departed (Andrew Weatherall) they end with Daniel Avery’s The Lone Swordsman.
