Bluer Than Blue

Another experiment with MIDI conversion. This one takes the audio track of Art Of Flying's Fiona's Dream (from Eyeful of Lamp) and converts it to MIDI using Bituosity's MiGic plug in, designed to convert an electric guitar signal to MIDI code. In effect the audio track acts as its own MIDI controller.  In trying to decode the track, the plugin hallucinates a lot of sounds that are "not there." I then play back the MIDI track in Garageband using the "glass string structures" instrument, add a little extra processing, and a new song dreaming itself is born.
