Natsu No Kaze

I initially started this piece with psytrance in mind and it eventually morphed into a collision of genres that was quite a fun challenge to mix and balance out. Trancy, deep house meets electro-industrial-metal with some dubstep thrown into a salad bowl that turned out quite nicely.

A rearrangement of a tune written back in 2003. Back then, I couldn't bring to life the music I heard in my head and it ended up sitting quite for 15 years. Like/comment if you enjoyed this tune as much as I enjoyed writing it. :)

Porcelain Doll

Mars & Uranus was written by Husen, a dear friend who sadly passed away today, two years ago. He was the most jovial person I've even known and he brought laughter to everyone he met. His love for food, anime, manga, art and music is matched by his love for life, people, the sky and clouds, and all animals - even cockroaches. 

This track is our final collaboration. Started almost 13 years ago for an animation project by the art group, Mars & Uranus, of which Husen and I (for a brief amount of time) was a part of. For some reason, the project was abandon but we had plans to finish the music - we just never got around to it and eventually forgot about it. His original composition was mostly done and my arrangement work had barely started. 

Looking back at our old works, this track resurfaced and I decided to finish the music - a process filled with grief and bittersweet joy. I wish to God that he could be here, right now listening to it and complaining while laughing.

I miss you dearly, brother. I hope you can hear music we worked on up there and I hope you like it.

Rivisiting this cover piece I did way back in 2005 and uploaded about 9 years ago. I was pretty happy with results then but at the back of my mind I wanted something more, a bigger sound, more aggressive guitars and growlier bass but was limited to the technology of the time. And so, after months of back and forth, here's my updated cover of the Theme from Mission: Impossible. I still feel, a Cry Baby for the lead would sound better but I don't have one.

Another cover, this time it's one of my favourite Björk songs; Army of Me. First time I heard it in 1995, it blew my teenage mind! I immediately fell in love with the bass line, the whole raw awesomeness of the track and it goes without saying, Björk's amazing vocals.
