Derrière l’alias NYOKL, un DJ discret mais affirmé, animé par une approche sélective et technique. Partant du classique, puis plongé dans la scène underground UK (bass music en général), il voit dans le DJing un moyen de lier ses découvertes à son bagage et à ses envies musicales, le but étant de développer une narration sans mots à travers ses sets.
Actif dans la scène drum & bass genevoise, et au sein du collectif genevois Edelbass, il développe NYOKL comme un projet indépendant, en attendant d’y intégrer bientôt ses propres productions dans le futur.
Le mix qu’il présente prend appui sur une base mélodique et dramatique, entre dubstep, deep dubstep et UK garage, dans un cadre obscur aux textures immersives, 
suivi de grooves plus vifs en fin de parcours.
La sélection, à la fois instinctive et personnelle, s’appuie sur des découvertes récentes, tout en ravivant une certaine nostalgie pour les styles qu’il mixait à ses débuts.

Behind the alias NYOKL is a discreet yet confident DJ, driven by a selective and technical approach. Starting from classical music and later immersed in the UK underground scene (bass music in general), he sees DJing as a way to connect his discoveries with his musical background and personal tastes, aiming to develop a wordless narrative through his sets.
Active in the Geneva drum & bass scene and a member of the Geneva-based collective Edelbass, he is developing NYOKL as an independent project, with the intention of soon integrating 
his own productions in the future.
The mix he presents is built on a melodic and dramatic foundation, moving between dubstep, deep dubstep and UK garage, within a dark setting rich in immersive textures, 
followed by more energetic grooves towards the end.
The selection, both instinctive and personal, draws on recent discoveries while rekindling a certain nostalgia for the styles he used to mix at the beginning of his journey.
