„Deep in my heart“ is the first single from The Green Man (TGM)’s „25 Years Basswerk Sessions“ album. „Deep in my heart“ is a modern electronic pop drum & bass track by Jaycut & TGM and the warm voice of Vavu, a german singer from the Rhineland with tamil roots, with whom TGM has already cooperated on „Say Goodbye“ for. Beatalistics. Together with her partner Christopher Gros they form the „Vavunettha“ duo project.

Jaycut and TGM met and cooperated when Basswerk sessions went to Gebäude 9 in 1999 and he founded drumandbass.de, on which they had their first netradio sessions form Basswerk’s underground studio. Later on, Jaycut went on his own paths. Together with Kolt Siewerts he founded „Play“ events series and label in Cologne, plus they also had a hit with the unconventional „Flute tune“. They also teamed for their ongoing and regular drumandbass.de Podcast. Focussing on his own electronic sound, here in „Deep in my heart“ Jaycut unites with TGM again - and with a fresh new voice.

On his„25 Years Basswerk Sessions“ album TGM is showcasing a broad variety of music centered around D&B and Jungle including some surprises and cooperates with the following artists ...

2024 opens a new world of KI options - and this remix was made with the help of KI separating the original - allowing to edit the original mix without having single tracks or stems! This opens up a new world of possibilities and remixing/ remastering of original Basswerk tracks mixed on analog desk in the late 90s and more and we are planning to collect a new remix album.

The Green Man & Kingz’ rmx of  Adelina was a 1998 summer hit featured on Basswerk Sessions Vol.1 and Basswerk 06 vinyl. It was played at numerous Basswerk events, in the radio (for example by Thomas Elbern) and around Germany, the compilation was album of the month in de:bug. It features the voice of Andrea Canta, who is also known for singing on Nalin & Kane’s famous summer house anthem „Beachball“, which was number-one for four weeks on the Canadian RPM Dance/Urban chart and reached number two in Spain and number 10 in Germany.The original was co-composed by Oliver Heuss, who also wrote the famous hit „New York, Rio, Tokyo“ by Trio Rio (#3 in German charts). The 2024 Edit adds slightly more groove elements, bass and effects and shortens the overall track a little bit.

This is maybe the most intricate production of the upcoming basswerk compilation. A composition with latin lyrics was made that fits into our time, a men's choir (Kammerchor of KMGV, www.kmgv.de) and an opera singer(Maria Kublashvili) were recorded, orchestrations were made. It all fits into a drum & bass track with deep bass, a unique combination of sound.

Klute & Greenman team up again for a melancholic electronic D&B track only they can do. "Alone at the Table" will be featured on Basswerk's new 22 Years collab compilation (Release Feb 22, preorder @ basswerk.bandcamp.com with early delivery). This is their fourth track after "Chicks" and "Lost" from the Certificate 18 days and "Chirashi" on Basswerk. Klute (who is also a punk rock musician) is working on his new album and just released a powerful remix of "Take a Breath" on Commercial Suicide 098. He is always going for an individual artist style within D&B - combined with a unique energy and emotional human touch. Skarra Mucci is a very versatile musician and singer. He is mainly bringing a mix of Raggamuffin, Dancehall and Reggae vibes from Jamaica to Europe, but is also capable of other styles with his soulful voice. He is touring around the world and has released many albums including “Dancehall President”, also cooperating with other singers like Beenie Man, Teacha Dee, Horace Andy, Alex and Navigator. On „Top of the World“ he teams up with The Green Man (TGM) for Basswerk’s 22 Year anniversary project for a modern soulful, earcatching and radio friendly D&B track in an easy style. This is a follow up on „Take it Easy“ with Navigator, another collab released on Basswerk 40 and on Navigator’s Album „Alignment“.

These are two very soulful and easy vocal rollers... First is a remix of Enea & MC Fava's "Dust" by The Green Man (TGM), combining tasteful modern shining Synths with old school beats and Fava’s brilliant singer’s voice. Fava is also known for releases with Keeno, Klute, Logistics or Seba on Hospital, V-Recordings, Commercial Suicide or Spearhead as well as performances @ Hospitality, Liquicity and more (for example together with Etherwood). It is accompanied by a nice music video made by the artists in a Cartoon/VJ-Style.
Track two features Enea's remix of Kaii Concept’s „Wolf in the Woods“, which is also very easy on the beats and features some very nice vocals. It was originally released on Enea’s own beatalistics Rec, where Enea and Fava also have been working together for a long time.
