This song is my entry in Soundiron's Rainy Day Song-writing Contest. Wish me luck! The contest involves writing a song that incorporates ambient field recordings of rainfall provided by Soundiron. 

I decided to revisit ELO's classic album Out of the Blue, which has quite a few songs about rain, for inspiration, and I set out to write something in a symphonic rock style. 

The vocals are performed by Amy Guskin. The arrangement uses more than a dozen of Soundiron's instrument libraries -- covering almost everything you hear except the bass and drums.
