Greetings, Thee MVPs transmit to you the viewer a short film called 'RECEIVER', better known as army slang for a radio as well as the headset on an old telephone (remember them?!) The following is five songs beamed down to you via the competent and kinetic camerawork of Max Horn aka BARONXBONES

Better known for his work with Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes, Max has captured the band knocking five of their numbers out of the park. The mission statement was simple, make it look like it's from the 70s, 'make us look like those old Beat Club and Old Grey Whistle Test videos would you please' may or may not have been the $1million question here.

Behind the desk was long time collaborator to the band Theo Verney, whose recent production on the Slimelord 45 along with storming records by TRAAMS and Rad Fru proved that he was once again the perfect match for cutting these Most Valuable of Players.

Recorded all live in a huge room at Brighton Electric, Thee MVPs fill the whole place with a pounding rhythm section, punch to the gut guitars and gusto-filled vocal attacks that the high ceilings could barely contain, everyone knows they're better live so we figured we may as well give you what you really want not just another soundcloud link!

RECEIVER features three oldies and two brand newbies which are getting their first flex out in this session! Performed well, recorded better than that and looking even better than both those other things to boot, sit back and get a smattering/battering of the band before heading to a show, which they'll be doing lots of always and forever.

After being pulled apart atom-by-atom, the listener is reconfigured on the other side, born unto starry wasteland. Where head is separated from body. Where music is seen and apocalyptic soundscapes flow to revelation. A funhouse undercurrent pulses through the album’s epoch, reflecting a carnival mosaic shrewdly lulling and doggedly brutal. As one track bleeds into the next, that hour of running time becomes wormhole travel, until the listener returns earthbound, transmuted, craving more odyssey.

Las Rosas - Diamond Dust

Triptides is a Los Angeles based psychedelic rock group led by multi-instrumentalist Glenn Brigman. It began in the summer of 2010 as a series of sun-drenched home recorded tape machine experiments. The band has since released six full length records and a number of singles and EP’s. Their music dives through realms of sonic clairvoyance complete with melted guitars, swirling farfisa organs and vocals like sunlight through the fog.   

From international tours to performances at Desert Daze and Barcelona Psych Fest, the band has continued at a strong pace and shows no signs of slowing down. 2019 will see their return to Europe for another tour as well as several festival performances including Astral Fest (UK) and Plisskën Festival (GR).

Triptides - Call Of Creation

This is the bands first track fully sung in Spanish, 2020 sees the band for lay into a more psych folk sound and they do so exceptionally well.
