IT’S DRAFT WEEKEND!!!! The NFL draft is here and the guys talk about the top picks and how the 49ers pick particularly could shift how the rest of the draft unfolds. Plus how does the Broncos trade to acquire Teddy Bridgewater change things? Will the Patriots trade up? Will the Eagles blow it? All that and more!

Next it’s MLB talk. The biggest story being the famed “Dodger Dog” will no longer be made by Farmer John. Will the taste ever be the same? The guys also talk how an Independent league is bringing the HR Derby to tiebreakers. Can it work? Oh, and Madison Bumgarners No-Hitter, was it or real or not?

Draft Me To Proper No. 12

The guys are back this week and kick things off with Olympic coverage. The main topic being all the love and hate surrounding what’s happening with Simone Biles. Greg and Paul both give their thoughts on what has occurred with her and the need for athletes and their mental health to be taken seriously.

They also touch on some of the first time gold medals won by Americans in different events. 

Next, it’s all about A-A-RON!! Rodgers makes his return to Green Bay and gives a brutally honest press conference that let’s the fans and league know just exactly his thoughts on the off season were. The guys give their thoughts on his comments and what they expect from the reigning league MVP. 

Finally, the MLB Trade deadline is looked at and what deals may be made and have already been made. Last, the BIG 12 may no longer be with Oklahoma and Texas looking to move out of it and onto bigger and better things in the SEC.

If You Talk Sports, They Will Listen

The guys are back and breaking down the good and the bad in the NFL in Week 2. Did any teams jump out and surprise or was everything predictable? We can tell you there was at least one fan hoping for a shock on Monday night, but unfortunately, even God couldn't give him that.

This week Greg starts the show off solo and discussing the surprises and expected wins and losses that took place over week 3 of the NFL. Teams like the Chiefs make the list in more than one way before Paul joins the show to discuss the return of the prodigal child Tom Brady to Foxboro. Do he and Bill talk?

This week Greg and Paul are starting off the show with a bit of celebrating. The Red Sox are in the ALCS and will be facing off against the Astros in a rematch of 2018, with some added storylines involved. The guys discuss the series and their predictions for it, as well as predicting the game 5 winner of the Giants/Dodgers series. 

They then discuss aspects of week 5 in the NFL, while looking ahead to Week 6 and who will be the Studs and Duds in fantasy, what teams could pull off the upset, and what game is a "must watch". Throw in the Gruden e-mail situation and the guys have the NFL covered better than Adam Schefters cellphones. 

Last, the guys discuss the Kyrie situation and give their two cents and nothing more about the NHL season Kraken open.

Yankees Swindled And Deebo Says Bye Bay

The average fans stance on everyday sports. Hosts Greg and James give their views on todays sports world.

Episode 1- We discuss the NFL Draft and who we think will be taken minutes before it starts and then cut to the second part of the podcast, which takes play Friday April 29. We give out post draft reactions as well as highlight the major storyline of the night Laremy Tunsil and his gasmask.

The NBA playoffs are also touched upon with a look towards the second round and we believe has the best chances to advance moving forward.

It's our first podcast so feel free to give some feedback of where we can improve and where we are already doing well. We always want to hear the fan's stance.

Episode 3-This week  Greg and James jump right in with the Kentucky Derby (2:30) and discuss what we saw from the field and Nyquist, along with some of the pre-race craziness that you may have missed. NBA Playoffs (7:00) come in hot afterwards with our focus really shifting towards the Spurs/Thunder and Warriors/Trailblazers series with a dash of the Eastern Conference. We then move onto the MLB (26:50) to give our views on Bryce Harpers walk-a-thon, Bartolo's HR Stroll, and what our stance was on Big Papi's Hulk moment. Finally, we look ahead to the weekend and the PGA Players Championship (39:30) where, we give our picks and give our best analysis.

The guys wrap up the NBA Finals (4:20) and all the amazingness that was Game 7. They look at Lebron's legacy and just how good Steph really is and if he's deserved the praise he's gotten the past two years. The US Open (33:20) had almost as much drama as the NBA Finals with Dustin Johnson coming from behind to win his first career major, even with a stroke penalty and James's knowledge of the PGA is put on display.  The MLB is briefly talked about, specifically how the Royal dropped a guy that was 3rd in all star voting, which leads the guys into their Celebrity Football Death Match debate that takes you to the end.

Episode 8 - NBA Finals, US Open, and Celebrity Football Death Match

The guys meet up for the first time since discussing the NBA Finals and jump right into the (4:25) NBA Draft and discuss the top picks along with the trades that did and didn't go down. Kevin Durant and his summer of free agency is broken down with our predicted landing spots for him and the dark horse free agent Dwayne Wade. The guys take a trip across the pond and discuss (33:15)Wimbeldon, with James having a surprising amount of knowledge on the topic and Greg basically showing off his accent skills. 

The (42:45) MLB is given a few minutes to discuss the resurgence in Cleveland and how Jake Arrieta is an inked Coastal Carolina supporter for life now. This leads into the wrap up of (46:50)Copa America and how it is presumably the last international tournament we will ever see Lionel Messi play in again.

Episode 9 - Kevin Durant, Cutting Thor, Accents

This week the guys fixed their audio issues and are back it again. James brings it again in this weeks "James Excuse" before diving into sports talk.

The MLB (4:55) Dog Days continue with not many story lines coming out of the league. The Red Sox bullpen, NL West, and Kershaw as an anchor are discussed, along with the door cracking open in Miami for A-Rod.

Al Jazeera in the NFL (11:45) is looked at and the guys go off the rails in discussing how a now non-existent papers articles opened the door for Sith Lord Goodell to reign down his power. Oh, and how pre-season football doesn't do much in terms of entertainment. 

Olympic (19:45)glory is what the guys are after and figuring out who was the star of Rio takes them in very different directions *Bombshell* neither chose Phelps (Gasp, I know). Week 2 of the Olympics is discussed along with why James feels burnt out at the end of all the events, even though he doesn't actually compete in any of them. We finish the Summer Olympics talk off with the one and only Rock head Ryan Lochte and his insane Bro-Sabi of a story.

This all leads to the weeks Start, Bench, Cut (42:40) of Top Seth Rogen movies with Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, and This is the End being in contention. As always the guys picks are completely different except for one.

Knocked Up, Olympics, Dog Days

James the prodigal podcast co-host returns after being away in BROOKLYN last week. The guys don't miss a beat though and dive into some small talk before realizing another week in the NFL has gone by. They discuss Week 10 (9:15) Most/Least Impressed along with giving their picks for Week 11 to go with the guest picks  (39:30) by Adam from the Fast Forward/Rewind Podcast.

Craziness ensues when the past weekend in CFB (45:00) is discussed with not only 1, but 3 of the top 4 teams losing for the first time in the same weekend since 1985. This causes James to go all Miami Vice and investigate what happened that year.

Once Greg gets him back on track they move ahead to the NBA (52:15) and take a look at last year's team virus, but this year's darling Dwight Howard and the rolling Atlanta Hawks. They also go over the top teams for each conference briefly and Russell Westbrook impressive potential triple double avg. So far this year.

It doesn't matter if they are traveling or not, Greg and James make sure to get the podcast in any way, any how for you.

James calls in from the road and we talk (5:30) Wild Card weekend Heroes and Zero's, before bringing up and peppering in our thoughts and picks for the Divisionla round games. The most intriguing games again happening on Sunday. Greg and James discuss the only way they can see the Patriots falling to the Texans, and if A-A-Ron can go into Jerry World and leave the Discount Double Check Champ.

One thing Greg can always rely on is if James can't make the show or something comes up that he'll communicate it with him, unlike D-Rose did with the Knicks (37:45). The guys give their stance on the whole "Where on Earth Did D-Rose Go To" saga and just what his future may be, not only with the Knicks, but as a player that is valuing himself entirely to high.

Finally, it's all wrapped up and the National Championship is brokedown (46:00) and the instant classic it became. Did not having Lane Kiffin make a difference? Does DeShaun Watson actually have ice in his veins? Did James actually watch the game? All of these questions were answered, along with others.

Madden Curses, Bubble Life, And Hot Dogs Galore

The guys jump into MLB talk with the announcement of a season finally being solidified. They take a look at the shortened season, its temporary rules, and even get a guest appearance by Joe Lonergan to talk about the extra innings change.

After, the guys head down the NASCAR road and into the Bubba Wallace situation. It’s a heavy topic, but one that needs to be discussed. 

Next, the PGA has had a lot of positive cases of Covid among golfers and caddies. Should the tour stop and reset before moving forward? Should stricter rules be put into place?

The guys then quickly discuss if the NBA bubble will work as they along with the NHL also have had a large number of positive cases. 

Last, Greg and Paul have a Start, Bench, Cut that is on the lighter side of things, Frozen summer drinks, where they decide where Daiquris, Pina Coladas, and Frozen Margaritas fall.

Baseballs Back, Bubbles Popped, And Daiquris On Deck

Fore on the green!! That’s the lead Dustin Johnson had going into the final round of The Masters and he finished one better beating the field by 5 strokes. Greg and Paul breakdown their picks performances and how Tiger showed he’s just like us average golfers…..sometimes. Plus as a bonus we predict what DJ will choose as his champions dinner in a few months back at Augusta.

Next, it’s onto the NFL. The guys get into the Must Watch, Don’t Watch, and Locks from Week 10 of the NFL season before giving their picks for Week 11. The Week 10s had a bunch of up and downs with the Patriots v. Ravens ending up being a torrential must watch and the Bengals not keeping it close in anyway against the Steelers who look like a team on a mission. The Week 11 picks come in ready to go with surprise Must Watches and Locks that are sure to hit!


Finally the guys take a swing and shot at the MLB and NBA. First, Theo Epstein has stepped down as the President of Baseball Operations for the Cubs. Why? What’s his future look like? Then, the Baseball Hall of Fame nominees came out. Who should get in from the group of Clemens, Bonds, Manny, and Schilling. These are guys that have been on the list for several years now, and how steroids have affected them getting in. Greg gives his thought on the whole situation and tries to change Pauls views.  Last, James Harden is passing on earning $50 million annually for a shot to try and get traded to the Brooklyn Nets and chase a ring. He clearly sees no shot in Houston, but should he really give up the money?

DJ Sees Green, Rains Down In Foxboro, And Bye Big Money James

Greg and Paul got a lot to say this week and Greg is especially ready to go off on a rant about the baseball HOF vote. 

First though, it’s time to recap the AFC/NFC Championship games, what Aaron Rodgers said after, and give some early thoughts on the Super Bowl featuring the young G.O.A.T Patrick Mahomes v. The G.O.A.T Tom Brady. 

Next up, a fastball of takes from Greg who is disgusted with what the voters did with the Hall of Fame vote in baseball. Paul let’s Greg take the plate and swing on all the high and mighty baseball writers who think they’re judge and jury. 

Some uplifting news follows the rant, Caris Levert who was apart of the James Harden trade found out during his physical he had kidney cancer. Luckily, the news just came in that he had successful surgery and is cancer free. 

Finally, some NWHL v. Barstool talk. What was the drama? Who was in the wrong? Should both sides have just said nothing and moved on?

Old G.O.A.T V. Young G.O.A.T And Hall Of Fame Sadness

The guys start everything off less awkward than the Golden Globes so it’s a step in the right direction! Tiger and his tribute was the first part of the show. Was it a good tribute by players? Did it feel almost morbid? Besides the Tiger tribute, his little black box was requested by the Sheriffs office to make sure of no wrong doing. Will anything turn up?

Next, it’s some Boston sports talk. The Red Sox were the first to use a new Spring Training Mercy Rule. Does the rule make sense? Then onto the hardwood where the Boston Celtics can’t seem to figure things out. Should they make a move? Will it solve any of their issues? 

The guys then talk about the ASG in Atlanta and how the 3 point contest big star studded lineup shines an even brighter light on how much of a dud the Dunk contest has become. 

Finally, some NFL talk with the shocking news of JJ Watt signing with the Cardinls. Did he do it all for the money? Are we all sleeping on the Cardinals SB contention possibilities? Plus a few players who’ve been cut and how they should be looked at by Belichick and the Patriots, but probably will not be, because well Belichick.
