Since his first release in 2015, Rylan Taggart has transformed his sound into what we know today; deep, forward thinking, and always melodic. While inspired by the sounds of deep progressive house, film scores, and more, the Vancouver, Canada resident combines multiple influences together for a unique, unforgettable listening experience.

With tracks such as his remix of "Heathens", by 21 Pilots, and "Constellation", Rylan's works have been heard on radio shows, clubs, and festivals all around the world. With the support of worldwide acts such as Above & Beyond, Lane 8, Yotto, Seven Lions, and more, the future looks bright for Rylan, with future releases and tour dates in 2019.

Inspired by recording into an old, thought to be broken, cassette tape player, a new project materialised seemingly out of thin air - something neither of them knew they were looking for.

Leaving Laurel's ‘Need Little, Want Less’ features harmonies evocative of Kiasmos and Tycho, whilst their production culminates in cinematic soundscapes reminiscent of Jon Hopkins in 'sometimes it’s scary…but it’s still just you and me’.

Out January 10th, Leaving Laurel’s inaugural release provides the bedrock for 2020, ahead of a hotly-anticipated track on Anjunadeep 11 and more exciting music to come.

The first extended mix to emerge from Spencer Brown’s sophomore mix album ‘Stream of Consciousness’, progressive burner (and album closer) ‘Womaa’ now sees a full release on Anjunabeats, produced with Wilt Claybourne.

Spencer goes in further in depth about the story behind the track: “One of my best friends from university, Will, and I made this track in beautiful Carmel, California in early 2019. During this session, I felt my father’s calm presence in the room as well as the exhilaration of falling in love with somebody. The combination of love for family, friends, and my significant other heavily inspired the track.”

Spencer Brown’s new mix album ‘Stream of Consciousness’ is available to buy or stream now, with CD copies and an exclusive poster bundle available on the Anjuna Music Store. Spencer’s ‘Stream of Consciousness’ tour takes him all across North America over the next few months, with a London headline date at Colours, Hoxton on April 4th and a set at our Anjunabeats elevations festival in Avoriaz, France also on the cards.
