In 2013, I wrote a piece called The Iron Groove in a single day for an Iron Composer speed-writing competition.  After the initial performance, I saw potential for this work to be the first movement for a three movement chamber work, taking advantage of this unique and wonderful instrumentation.

Probably my most ambitious and experimental piece yet, Iron Grooves, partially named after the competition, is a set of pieces with severely different personalities, yet with the same groovy feel.

A piece conceived and written for the 2015 Baldwin Wallace Fyoo zh en dance concert.  An aural representation of the stress and anxiety of PTSD and of the idea that "nobody just snaps".  Premiered March 19th at the Kleist Center for Art and Drama

A commentary of one of the most fascinating and disturbing moments in the history of American politics.  I sampled many soundbites from his speeches, including audio of Trump supporters on their way to his rallies.

My final composition as a student at Baldwin Wallace.  Generations is a concept piece that uses solo instrumental lines to represent different generations and ideological thinking of a family over time.  A recurring chorale represents the love and unity of a family that overcomes these evolving life perspectives.
