Enrico Sangiuliano has been on the Italian scene since 2003. Over the years he managed to work his way up through the ranks performing at Italy’s largest stages and hosting his own club night ‘TECH’. Many of his own unreleased tracks became club hits through his own performances. In recent years he has started putting his releases out into the international techno scene with releases on Alchemy, Octopus and Truesoul to name a few. So what can you expect from his release on Gem? 

The EP is a double A-side with two amazing tracks. First up is Groove Mission which combines a powerful pumping groove with industrial noises and percussion echoing through a huge reverb. The track is simply dripping with excellent production skills. Thumping bass and crisp highs manage to leave room to make this big room techno sound warm and cosy.  

Next up is Stone Cock which according to Sangiuliano refers to ‘a huge stone monolith he imagines rising up from earth into space’. The track definitely sounds like it came from another planet with a repetitive bleep as the main feature of the track and trippy laughter in the break. Again a powerful groove drives the track and menacing sounds are expertly wrapped over the top. Scary shit!

There is a certain type of funk that only Reset Robot can create and we’re happy to see his return to Truesoul with a rolling 4 track EP that incorporates his autograph sound. The steady drums that roll throughout each track are overlaid with many different parts to create 4 harmonious tracks to keep the dancefloor swaying. The bass lines are big, the melodies are infectious and the funk just keeps on giving. Another outstanding EP from Reset Robot to demonstrate why he is a Truesoul favourite.

This formula is gaining adepts day by day and allows the duo to sign successful releases in well know labels such as Repopulate Mars, VIVa MUSiC or Cr2 Records. For this new Roush' appearance the duo brings us an exquisite two track EP entitled 'Mr Motivator'. Title track is peak-time stuff based on a solid drum beat and a raw vocal that repeats a catchy word. The well built effect on the breakdown is something to take account into because shows the production abilities of the duo. Next, second cut 'Snake Charmer' offers a great b-side based on a looped percussion that gives an afro vibe to the composition but the great thing comes with the main breakdown where an indian flute plays a main role offering a great and captivating melody.

Greg Gow is one of Canada’s most accomplished electronic musical talents with a growing presence and impact at home and across the world. He regularly brings his unique sound and performance excellence to premium venues across four continents. The award-winning producer and DJ consistently pushes the boundaries of his art, with his hypnotic sound, a skillful hybrid of soulful Detroit techno, marinated in the diverse flavors of his Toronto roots. 

There are haunting echoes in Greg’s music to the sounds of legendary world techno pioneers Derrick May, Kevin Sanderson, and Carl Craig, all of whom are his musical mentors and his abiding inspiration. Greg’s track “The Bridge” was instrumental in re-launching May’s iconic Transmat label, and his releases on Sanderson’s KMS took the techno world by storm at a pivotal time. Multiple collaborations have spread his penetrating sound to other leading labels, including Radioslave’s Rekids/ RSPX, Steve Bug’s Poker Flat, Christian Smith’s Tronic, Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, and Dubfire’s SCI+TEC.

Since 2001, Greg’s own label, Restructured Recordings, has pushed deep, funky,
driving melodic techno from artists such as Mateo Murphy, Samuel L Session, Ian
O’Donovan, and of course, Greg himself. For over three years he has produced and distributed a well-received monthly podcast series. This Is Modulations, features recordings of live sets as well as studio mixes.

Beyond his studio prowess, Greg is one of Canada’s most respected techno
ambassadors, regularly playing alongside other behemoths of dance music. He has starred from coast to coast in each of Canada, the United States and Mexico; from the top to the tip of South America; and widely across Europe and Asia. Global highlights include The BPM Festival; Output NYC; Movement Detroit; Movement Torino, Italy; Watergate Berlin, Ushuala, Ibiza; Club Space Miami; Creamfields, Dubai; and Club Air Tokyo; among many more. 

On his home turf, Greg has a residency at Toronto’s Vertigo, highlights at Montreal’s Stereo, and appears frequently at many of Canada’s premiere festivals like Electric Island. Greg’s track I Knew Techno, released on his Restructured Recordings label, won the 2023 Juno Award in the Underground Dance Single Of The Year category. These prestigious awards presented annually by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to recognize outstanding national achievements in Canada’s music industry. 

With the help of Avid Artist Agency Greg Gow is now planning a world tour to celebrate his 20 years of ever evolving success and spread his vibrant Techno sound.
