The ensemble slips right into the groove as if in disguise; the blend with the rhythm is perfect the baseline doesn't push or prod it settles back into the ebb and flow of everything else.
lyrics can be evocative without much fuss. The melodic line always pulls at the beat beneath it by carrying words over the bar, if is the only word sung on a proper downbeat during the verse are rhythmic overlays that do not  overdo the tension it merely strings it out to full effect. The syncopation ride out a different harmony that sway against the constant baseline. The changing cords cause a pleasurable tension in this fine musical culture applying just the right amount of pressure to bring harmony into place.

Eric Mann is an environmental, civil rights, anti-war, labor-union activist and organizer. He is the host of www.voicesfromthefrontlines.com on Pacifica Radio's 90.7 FM KPFK, in Los Angeles. Eric is also the director of the Labor/Community Strategy Center in Los Angeles and a co-founder of the Bus Riders Union.

Cleveland, Ohio native, Greg Korzen (guitar,synth,producer,engineer) has roots in the 80's L.A. punk & lowbrow art scene, playing in bands on Mystic Records (Noise God, Slaughterhouse 5) with ex Christian Death Drummer "China".  In the early/mid '80s these bands helped forge a "California trash rock", more like The Stooges, MC5 & New York Dolls.  In '87 he teamed up with OG punk diva De De Troit of U.X.A. to form the rock band Hit 36, then in the late "90's he formed "Destruction Derby" with Walter Adams (Faster Pussycat), Marko (Sugarcult) & Steve Sherlock (Nerf Herder)

Producer, arranger, & key ingredient, Wendy Steiger, has a musical background beginning as a DJ at college radio station WALF 89.7 FM, in Alfred, New York. She studied dance in New York City with the renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and later went on to dance with Plexus Dance Company and also Ana Galindo's Flamenco Dance Troupe, further developing her attraction to complex rhythms, especially danceable ones. Her unique heart and feel for music puts her in a class all by herself.

Greg has played guitar in the past with: Ray Bundridge (James Brown), Frank Infante (Blondie, Iggy Pop), Michael Monarch (Steppenwolf), Sky Saxon (The Seeds), Chuck Dukowski (Black Flag), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Nicky Beat (Germs, The Cramps), Starchild (Parliament Funkadelic), Carla Bozulich, Derf Scratch (Fear)
