As the wrestler entered the auditorium he cast his eyes towards the ring at the centre of the room. All around him were magnificent colours, flags and crowds who danced, cheered and chanted his name. Beneath his mask he was feeling hot and bothered. The pressure was intense but he couldn't let that get to him, not now, not ever. As he began the long walk down the ramp towards the grand stage he tensed his muscles and began to pound his chest like some sort of fierce wild animal. He was the king of lucha libre and this was his domain. 

Dorothy's Fortress are back, a mysterious duo who have received fierce plaudits and support from the underground are ready to return to the ring with a new EP. "Lucha Libre" is out on the 12th of march and is set to destroy a club near you soon.

‘Without U’ is a solid opener with strong deep and groovy tones. The catchy kick and sweet samples make it a proper dancefloor delight. The main title track 'Cycles' is a dynamic lullaby that sends waves of relaxation through you. The producer unveils a melodic house that blends perfectly with the high perched vocal.

The B side is just as enchanting - 'Crystal Height' is a true shot of your daily vitamin C with it's sunlit sequences. 'Hiding' lands in style, revealing a more breakaway house with dreamy synths. A touch of hypnotic grooves with an atmospheric rhythm, what more could we ask for?

Having been named one of Pete Tong's rising stars of 2019, Alfie and Billy Goffey of the Bristol dance music duo Cousn have thrown together a top-quality two-tracker for their own FAMLY Records imprint titled 'Brain Ticker'. 

Ahead of the EP's release date on May 30, Cousn has handed its title track over to Mixmag for a premiere. “Brain Ticker epitomizes what we’re about," says Cousn. "It’s chaotic and in your face. With Billy recording the vocals in one take whilst cramped in a cupboard under the stairs at home, anything musically technical gets thrown out the window in favor of capturing that raw energy."
