The title translates from latin as “Through hardship to the stars” the song is a song about surviving the dark days and getting to where you want to be.

Per Aspera Ad Astra

As an artist (if I can call myself that) i’m influenced mainly by Oasis and The Stereophonics, I like to think my vocals fall somewhere in between Liam Gallagher and Kelly Jones in this track, obviously not as good as either of them though. The track itself is about the odd feeling you get that you’ve lived that moment or been in that place or situation before, it’s also about the nostalgic feeling I get when I look back on my early twenties. Also worth mentioning this song is recorded on an I phone, effects such as reverb are done using an app called BandLab, all the instruments are also me with the exception of the drums which are from my effects pedal.
