Jymmi James - A Sunrise Of Love

Andy Baxter is one of the great island residents here on Ibiza. For many years an almost nightly resident at Pacha playing all the available spaces there. 
Warming up and closing for everybody from Sneak to David Gueta taught Andy his chops and led to him being chosen to kick start a - then - very new (and unpopular on Ibiza) urban / hip-hop night at a little known club just a short walk from his super-club home. Not content with playing to huge crowds of holiday makers and gathered celebrities, local hipsters with a bent for the underground and port-side workers on a night off he took the reins of possibly the most famous sunset bar on the island at the time and made his mark there. This in turn led to him being picked up by various exclusive beach restaurants making him - without doubt - one of the hardest working men to ever live on Ibiza.  
So when he got in touch with me and told me that he was a fan of what we had been doing with this project I was over the moon. High accolade indeed coming from somebody who I seriously believe to be one of the best / most versatile working dj's out there. And when he asked if he could contribute and suggest a theme I knew that it was going to turn out to be great. And it is...Get ready to hear a different Andy Baxter. Starting his career spinning records in the nineties, Larse very quickly made a
Name for himself in Germany. Bagging a residency with his first DJ gig at the Tanzcafe
In his hometown of Dortmund, his skills on the decks caught the attention of 1LIVE Radio
(Europe’s biggest youth radio station and Germany’s equivalent to BBC Radio One) who gave
Him his own show. Larse hosted 1LIVE „Klubbing“ alongside Mike Litt for over 15 years, earning
him a nomination for the German Dance Award, many loyal followers well as national and
International bookings along the way.
But it was Larse’s move into producing that really kicked things off. His 2011 release ‚The More I
Want‘ was picked by big names such as Jamie Jones and Tale of Us became a huge hit with Ibiza
clubbers. His first EP ‚Nightshift‘ on Noir Music followed shortly awards and within a few months
Larse reached the coveted number one spot of the all important Beatport Top 100 for the first
time with ‚So Long‘, also released on Noir Music.
His timeless remix for legendary Soul & Gospel singer Candi Staton, released on Defected
Records reached the Beatport number one spot again and brought him his first Gold Record in
Belgium. Intensive touring ensued with gigs at the world’s top clubs including Fabric/ London,
Sankeys/ Manchester, Polar Lounge/ NYC and Booom/ Ibiza to name only a few.
Now Larse is by no means resting on his laurels. He has already followed up with some high
profile remixes on Exploited, Peppermint Jam, Glitterbox, Eskimo Recordings, Capitol Records
and many more. With over 15 Mio plays in total, 130k monthly listeners he also has reached a
solid base on Spotify.
In 2020 Larse started the Year with the Italo-like „We Were Young“ on Musumeci’s Multinotes
Imprint, his new EP featuring Charlie Sputnik on Peppermint Jam and Remixes for Tender Games,
Orbital Drum System and a special Remix Treatment for Jazzanova coming in November.

It did not take long before Greg was playing at raves and club events across the US. His dynamic techy house sets landed him sets along side Laurent Garnier, John Digweed and many others. Rocking dance floors from Seoul to Montreal, Riga to Miami, and from New York to Paris, Greg finally planted down in San Francisco where he held residencies at 1015 Folsom, Ruby Skye and The End Up.In 2015 he had the guest mix on John Digweed’s Transitions radio show, one of the world’s most successful dance music shows, broadcast across 45 countries to a staggering weekly audience of 14 million. 2023 marks 32 years behind the decks and 9 Countries played in. 2024 saw a new EP on the legendary Nervous Record, remixes and 2025 features the launch of his own SUPERTAPE label.
