The idea behind this soundscape was to create a first person perspective of a pilot in a helicopter/spaceship on the edge of a cliff that is about to collapse. Lucky, the aircraft manages to takes off in time. But just when it seems safe, the aircraft is hit by a missile and has to perform an emergency landing.

All the sounds were recorded using an NTG3 and Zoom handheld recorder. From recording and collecting sounds of smashing glass too rocks in the back yard, to even some workshop machinery. The sounds were then manipulated to create the soundscape. Additional sounds were created using software synthesisers.
