This song is written from the perspective of the whale, it is a whale's journey through the horror of being hunted. In the first verse the dissonance and tension we create with our instruments reflects the confusion and discord that the hunt creates for these gentle giants. The second verse, as we make whale calls with our instruments, begs the question; why? Why are you hunting us? The third verse as the tension builds to a crescendo then into a symphonic consonant release is the arrival of the anti-poaching units; the whale's only hope against these destroyers of life.
