Imitations of reality are soon forgotten memories

If it makes you feel like happiness, you call it relevant
But when your feelings crash and burn
All that’s left are ashes of desire
Drifting through your self-concern…to start another fire

Drama and attention disguised in undisclosed intentions
With plastic smiles and mimic eyes  
Makes it hard to feel sympathy
You try so hard to stay in line…generating empathy
But your pride calls your enemies

It’s the only thing to do
When there’s nothing left to lose

You live so careless (though you try, try, try)
Thinking you're fearless but can't prove it when its time
Can't see the anomaly (so you cry, cry, cry)
Blaming the nameless...
Well we wanna believe what you say but you break every rule in the game
Like a butterfly around the flame
