Playing around with some pretty gospel style chords over the D'angelo cover of Feel Like Makin' Love (from his Voodoo album). D'angelo is one of my musical hero's, he has so much feel!

A cover of a track by my favourite guitarist, Stevie Ray Vaughan. Lenny means a lot to me and I love playing it live. I played this on my 2014 American Fender Stratocaster.

First Flight

This is a jam that has some twists and turns in with as much soul as I could get in! I played this on my 1983 Japanese Squire Strat straight into my MacBook. I plugged into the Line 6 (Brit Drive 1968 Plexi Lead) for the lead part. 

The Cooker

Late 70' early 80's feel good vibe with a nu groove. I used my 1983 Japanese V Strat and a Fender Jazz Bass.

Later

This is a little idea that has been going through my head for a while now and driving me a little crazy (!). Can't wait to get vocals on it. This has been taking me to somewhere very far away for the last couple nights when working on it... hope it takes you to the same place too - you'll like it there.....

I have written, recorded  and performed with Natasha Watts, The West Coast Soul Stars, Laura Jackson (Cool Million) and Katie Leone (Incognito)amongst many.
I studied Jazz at Leeds College of music in 2003 and have an album called Daylight out (Ashwood Records - available on iTunes) with my band The Doggett Brothers. I am an endorsed Ernie Ball artist and exclusively use their custom gauge 10 - 52 strings.
