Kind of a fun little song from 1914.  Billy Murray's recording is on the Library of Congress Jukebox (http://www.loc.gov/jukebox/recordings/detail/id/6840).  He is a tenor and there is a bit of interpretation and improvisation on his recording.  I have been trying to do the music as written (at least for now) so the lyrics are slightly different and I don't change tempo like Billy's recording.  Also, I have stopped trying to sing tenor.  Edgar Leslie keeps coming up as a lyricist on the funnier old songs - must have been a fun guy.  Another interesting thing about the sheet music art is that it shows Al Jolson - but as far as I can figure out Al didn't have anything to do with this song.  Hmmmmm.
