This uses a simple, four measure theme-it uses other themes too, they're just not the central idea-in several different keys with countless variations.

This is meant to depict, through my my own interpretation (although I've never been there), two days in and out of New York City. The beginning is supposed to be a person (the listener) arriving, and the end is supposed to be that person leaving- reluctantly, wanting to go back.

I'm not exactly proud of this solo marimba piece...but I finished it. It's supposed to depict two people, or beings, chasing one another on opposite sides of a river, not exactly sure who or what the other is. Fluss- Anstarren means "River Gaze" in German.
