Experimental electronic musician from Egilsstaðir, Iceland. Started his DJ career in 2006 but made his first release under the Muted moniker in 2009. Being a child of nature and living in such proximity with it, Muted spends a lot of time outside doing field-recordings which he then combines with his deep beats and ethereal atmospheres. His critically acclaimed debut album "Muted World" was released earlier this year and expected are numerous gigs from the Icelander in Europe, starting this summer.

THE MIX:

The main concept for this mix was to get as many of my favorite songs in it. It consists of tracks that have been on my routine playlist throughout the years, some are new, but some have been on there forever. I didnt set any rules regarding genres or styles, I matched what could be matched and the rest was done following the vibe of the mix.

Forest Sang

Just about a year ago my laptop was stolen at a show in NY. I lost an album I was working on and learned my lesson the hard way.
This is one of the tracks I recovered. It features some good friends of mine Brandon Mitchell (Kadence) and Carlos Garcia (L05) on vocals.
I didn't feel it was right for my next release but wanted you all to have it.
